A sailing taster with us can be to get you into a life of sailing or simply a great way to explore the Harbour.
After this session we will tailor make a package of lessons and rental to get you into the type of sailing that works for you.
Thanks to everyone that gave up a Saturday to gain confidence using the support boats at TYPBC. Elements supports the club by running several of these courses a year.
We run them all across the north island for sailing, rowing and waka clubs.
It took just a few runs for this couple to declare they love sailing. And what's not to like on a day like today.
It's going to be great showing them the different sides of sailing and seeing what they enjoy the best.
Despite a very light wind start to the day the breeze did fill in enough for our Topaz lesson to run and our new renters who enjoyed a few sunny hours in the Omega.
Adam also headed out in his Topaz with his son.
What a relaxing way to finish the weekend.
Our professionally run GoSailing and GoWindsurfing days have been a popular choice resulting in more repeat bookings than anything else we do.
If you're a teacher looking for an EOTC day out that is as mental as it is physical then look no further than a day or more on the water with your class/ year with our professional seasoned instructors the best range of kit and clothing for the whole class. Our Tauranga base at Kulim Park is vertically impossible to beat, if you're not in Tauranga then we can arrange great camp accommodation on Matakana Island or we can always come to a great spot near your school.
The huge 7m plus waves out to sea today were even noticed at Kulim Park on Tuesday during after school sailing.
The photos don't do it justice as ever by the time we grabbed a camera the good ones had gone.
The rough seas pushing into the Harbour entrance meant that the water couldn't leave the Harbour, as a result our high tide was over 20cm high than predicted.
It was fast exciting sailing that was capped of with a great sunset.
