The best value EOTC activities for local and national schools.

Loving all this windsurf tuition we are doing for local schools. With three instructors for 10 students on the water we believe our ratios are not just amongst the safest but also allow for the best progression and learning curve as we have the staff with the experience to provide tailored tuition for all. The international instructor student ratio is 1:6, we provide a better ratio and more kit for a better cost per group than other commercial and even charity based EOTC providers. Be sure to check what you'll be getting when you compare outdoor activity operators. Give us a call and arrange a site visit and you'll soon see the lengths we naturally go to inorder to support particularly youth activities.

Schools windsurf with for several 3 day blocks

More schools enjoy windsurfing with us. Today's group did well to be on the water from 9 until 5.
A great effort. As s result they can all windsurf back and forth, most are also getting upwind and doing some good fast tacks.
Bring on 2mrow for more of the same.

GoSailing and why not GoWindsurfing with your class

Our professionally run GoSailing and GoWindsurfing days have been a popular choice resulting in more repeat bookings than anything else we do. If you're a teacher looking for an EOTC day out that is as mental as it is physical then look no further than a day or more on the water with your class/ year with our professional seasoned instructors the best range of kit and clothing for the whole class. Our Tauranga base at Kulim Park is vertically impossible to beat, if you're not in Tauranga then we can arrange great camp accommodation on Matakana Island or we can always come to a great spot near your school.

As expected day 3of3 was fantastic

Despite the lack of wind we headed of across Tauranga Harbour to Matakana island, we swam and explored the beach, had lunch and on cue the wind picked up so we could all sail back to Kulim Park with big smiles and laughter.

The group sailed so well and fast that we ended up sailing unwind nearly to the mount.

Once back at Kulim Park we let the class free sail and try a mix of sailing by themselves, in pairs threes and even done fours and maybe 5 in a Topaz at one point. The Omega with Alex was kept busy doing trapezeing and flying the purple astymetric spinnaker.

This group has excelled, they are all more than good enough to pass YachtingNZ level 1 certificate. We will send then to the school next week.

A big thanks from for such a neat group lead by their teacher Fran.

Pete, Jules and Alex

Day 2of3 schools sailing

The group excelled again today, after mastering sailing round a triangular course we moved onto capsizing and using the trapeze on the larger Omega sailing dinghy. Give us s call to find out how we can get your school, class or group on the water. We use a mix of Topaz and Omega dinghies because they are simply the only boats that allow us to deliver safe courses with a rapid learning curve. In a typical GoSailing day we get a group of upto 30 happily sailing back and forth as well as playing some games. Whilst teaching sailing or windsurfing we also pass on important watersafety messages.
